Exposure to food additives 3.17x risk

"In the placebo group (n = 11), fibroid volume increased (24.3%) over the study period; however, patients randomized to green tea extract (n = 22, 800 mg/day) treatment showed significant reduction (32.6%, P = 0.0001) in total UF volume. In addition, EGCG treatment significantly reduced fibroid-specific symptom severity (32.4%, P = 0.0001)"
"Large doses of vitamin D in rats led to tumor loss of up to 75%"
"When the researchers looked at the data of
individuals with vitamin D levels equal to or greater than 30 ng/mL, it
was associated with an approximately 22% reduction in the incidence of
fibroids when compared to individuals with levels less than 30 ng/mL.
The group with the highest vitamin D serum levels of greater than 30
ng/mL also had a 32% increase in fibroid tissue loss."
More than 6 hours of leisure time was associated with 2x risk of uterine fibroids (compared to less than 2 hours of leisure time a day)
