Mercola.com & LifeExtension.com are probably the top two resources for extending life (along with other medical complaints).
TheEpochTimes.com also does amazing work, HealthLine.com often has useful articles too.
Wearing a bra (especially if worn 24 hours) may increase breast cancer risk, and may decrease breast health, tight pants can also effect sperm quality (2.5x) in men. (Please read article):

Breast feeding reduces breast cancer risk

"In one analysis, women with vitamin D levels of 60 ng/mL or more had an 82% lower risk of developing breast cancer than women with low vitamin D levels (less than 20ng/mL)."
"High blood levels of vitamin D in breast cancer patients are associated with a 42% lower risk of mortality as compared to lower blood levels."

Thermography is more
accurate, and less dangerous (?), than a mammogram (detecting 90% of cancers
vs. ~66% for a mammogram) (mammograms tend to over diagnose) (I thought I heard
that breast compression during a mammogram was unhealthy)

"For women
between the ages of 40 and 49 years undergoing annual screening mammography,
CISNET modeling results estimate an number needed to screen (NNS) of
746 (39% of the number needed to invite (NNI) of 1904) to prevent one
breast cancer death. The NNS based on CISNET results for women between 50 and
59 years is 351 (26% of the NNI of 1339), for women between 60 and 69 years is
233 (62% of the NNI of 377), and for women between 70 and 79 years is 377.
Annual screening of women between 40 and 84 years yields an NNS of 84 (11.9
lives saved per 1,000 women screened)"
"For every
1,000 women who do not get mammograms, five will die from breast cancer. For
every 1,000 women who do get regular mammograms, four will die."
Another study had a
38% reduction in mortality (unlike the 20% reduction above)
If a abnormality is
detected a ultrasound can be ordered, or another mammogram in 6 months, or a
needle biopsy.

(Colonoscopies also
don't prevent much cancer)
"the risk of
colorectal cancer at 10 years was 0.98% in the invited group (invited for
single colonoscopy) and 1.20% in the usual-care group, a risk reduction of 18%.
The risk of death from colorectal cancer was 0.28% in the invited group and
0.31% in the usual-care group (a absolute reduction of 0.03% or 1 in 3,333), a
risk reduction of 10%. The number needed to invite to undergo screening to
prevent one case of colorectal cancer was 455 persons. The risk of death from
any cause was 11.03% in the invited group and 11.04% in the usual-care
group." (men and women 55 to 64) (about 40% of the invited people chose to
have a colonoscopy) (Colonoscopies can sometimes cause unwanted side effects
and that this in combination with low numbers of lives saved make colonoscopies
ill-advisable)
(need to lookup more
studies)
(I lean towards not
recommending colonoscopies, and perhaps not mammograms)
